Still while on the Processes Tab, Under “Image Name” column – look over to CPU Time and High Memory columns to see which files may be causing high usage.
D/L Process Explorer : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/… …to determine what specific files are running in process as well as some of the generic Windows Process names running are associated with software on your PC, and where those files are located (File paths).

I find nothing conclusive with Google searches for “SyRem”, there are some Czech & Russian references to that (raises my eyebrows a bit). I would try finding out what that particular file is that is running that is associated with SyRem and try try uploading that file(s) to Jotti’s AV file Online scanner: http://virusscan.jotti.org/en , to have multiple AV scanners inspect that file(s) associated with SyRem.
Again, as in post # 9 above, I’d scan your system with several good anti-malware tools – MalwareBytes, EmsiSoft Anti-malware and maybe an Anti-Rootkit scanner or two like GMER, Radix, TrendMicro Rootkit buster etc.

When you install the software for a directly connected printer properly (NOT just the drivers), the printer model appears automatically in Printers and Faxes, BUT when you first install the software, it does not appear there immediately – it WILL eventually.The printer will work fine after the software has been installed for it properly (you MAY have to Restart the computer once) even BEFORE the model appears in Printers and Faxes.

If it doesn’t do the same thing, there is a good chance that something is wrong with the laptop’s keyboard. You might be able to find a more specific reason why the device isn’t working:
Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > Device Manager
Just click on the device, and find the Device Status section under Properties. What does it say?
