How could Microsoft include drivers for hardware that would not exist for more than a decade in the future?
If you really must run XP do so under a virtual machine such as VirtualBox or VMWare running on a modern OS. MUCH easier.

That message would be NTFS, not NYFS. What the message means is you are using the NTFS file system, which is the default file system for Vista. NTFS file system is not compatible with Win98se.
