Need To Burn Exe File To Cd

forgot administrator login password on my older computer and cant log in properly so want to put password changer on boot disc to remove,have downloaded it but exe file and cant seem to get it to be bootable disc,can anyone let me know how thanx

    1. Instead of trying to create a bootable cd with that file on it try reseting the password this way:

      You just need an OS installation disk.

    2. Exe (executable) files aren’t bootable. They are run from within a Windows operating system. You need an image file or ISO file.

      Have you tried accessing the default administrator account to emmend your password?

    3. If the password hasn’t been changed on the hidden administrators account you may be able to access it in safe mode and reset your password.
      The link in my first post has a walkthrough. Although I’ve done it through control panel rather than using command prompt.
