“Your PC will restart in 2 days to finish installing important updates.”

Ok, this is nothing to be concerned over, it’s just poorly written. What they are trying to say is it will take a restart to fully apply the update but it’s not going to restart right away. It will give you two days before it automatically restarts or you have the option at any time to manually restart it yourself. Trust me, the two day delay is a really good thing, as I said before, if you’ve ever been in the middle of a project such as video rendering or installing a program that takes 15 minutes or so to install, the last thing you want is Windows restarting itself. This gives you plenty of time to complete your work.

I’m not sure why you are so concerned over being forced to update. The updates cover security holes, bugs in the operating system, etc. It’s a good thing, you want the updates.

If you don’t like the Metro screen, you have several options. There are programs that will convert the graphic interface to look like Windows 7. One such program (I use this one) is called Start8. This one costs $5 but in my opinion, it’s well worth it. There are others too that are free, it’s your choice.

“i tried clearing cmos by pulling battery and moving jumper”

By doing that, you removed any customized settings. BIOS defaults are never 100% correct, they are merely a starting point. By loading defaults, you probably disabled USB at startup. Borrow a true PS/2 keyboard (not USB with PS/2 adapter), tap the F2 key at startup, then correct the BIOS settings.

“everytime get into windows my video resolution settings are reset and my mouse goes off the right side of screen into oblivion”

Since you have a 2nd monitor connected, the display setting is probably set to extend rather than mirror, that would explain why the mouse pointer goes off the screen “into oblivion”.
