The latest nvidia driver for XP is version 364.72, it was just released a few days ago. Make sure to uninstall the old driver 1st, reboot, then install the new one.

The link in your original post is still not working.

First unplug all cables and plug them in firmly again, also try other USB sockets on the computer.

Assuming this doesn’t help go here:
    https://download.epson-biz.com/modu…

    Select Windows Printer Driver.

I would be inclined to run all three of these in the order given, restarting the computer and trying the printer at each stage:

EPSON Advanced Printer Driver Delete Temp Tool Ver.1.00

You then select “EPSON Advanced Printer Driver for TM Series Ver”, choosing the
one that matches your series number (not given). Read the information to ensure the download is right for your device and country.

EPSON Advanced Printer Driver Update Tool.

The first and last effectively do a bit of rubbish clearing, so might help.

    How old is the printer?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome – thanks

  3. Also possible a battery holder solder joint is broken.Could be a short. Did you remove the motherboard recently or could a wayward screw have dropped inside? I accidently set a removed motherboard on a piece of steel wool once. After that although it worked OK it would never hold the cmos settings.

Make sure CPU 4/8 pin connector is correct connector, not 6/8 pin PCIe connector.
Try removing plugs from hard drive/SSD drive.
Try only one memory stick in first slot.
It is possible too much thermal compound, review and reset.
    http://www.arcticsilver.com/intel_a…
Remove all components except 1 memory stick, keyboard, mouse, monitor to onboard graphics (preferable VGA or DVI cable if possible).
Check that all stand offs to the case have screws in them and there are no extra stand offs under the motherboard where no screw holes are in motherboard. Look for stray lost screws that might have slid under motherboard. (better yet remove motherboard from case and place on clean cardboard).
Check that no wires were pinched when routing them in case.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Tell us the make and model of your brand name system, or if you have a generic desktop system, the make and model of the mboard.

The specific model of a brand name system is often shown on a label on the outside of the case somewhere, or it can often be determined by going to the brand name’s web site and loading a program they have available, if Windows is still working, on the subject computer.

    If it’s a Dell computer…
Go here for how to find the Service tag “number”:
    http://support.dell.com/support/top…

    Tell us what it is.

    If it’s a HP or Compaq computer…..
    Go here:
    http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx
    Scroll down a bit.
Look for the similar label on the outside of your computer.
Quote the specific model number – that’s at the end of the first line.
Quote the Product number – that’s on the third line.

    If it’s a Lenovo computer
Find your specific Product number and tell us what it is:

    Finding my product number
    http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/Fin…

The model, sometimes the make, of a mboard in a generic desktop system is usually printed on the mboard’s surface in obvious larger characters, often between the slots.
    ………

Your problem has nothing to do with the bios (unless you flashed the bios with the wrong bios update or something went wrong while flashing it), or those settings in the bios. Enabling the shadowing for those two things merely allows the computer to take a little less time to load the bios code, and for it to improve your video perfomance a bit.

Describe what your symptoms are, in as much detail as you can come up with.
    ……..

If your computer is getting no video at all while booting BEFORE Windows attempts to load (assuming you have the monitor plugged into the right video port if you have a desktop computer if you have more than one), you probably have a hardware problem with your computer,

or a lot less likely, if the computer is booting fine, if it’s a desktop computer you may get no video at all, if your mboard has onboard video, you’re using a video card installed in a mboard slot for the monitor, the main chipset supports Hybrid video, but the video chipset on the video card in the slot is not one of the ones that supports the Hybrid video feature (that problem is easily fixed).
    …………..

If this is a desktop computer…

If you are ALWAYS getting video while booting BEFORE Windows attempts to load, but NO VIDEO AT ALL in Windows after it is supposed to load, that problem is easy to fix.

    See response 9 here:
    https://computing.net/answers/ha…

( To get Windows into Enable VGA mode…..
    – Remove all bootable CDs or DVDs in drives
    – Press F8 repeatedly while booting the computer, don’t hold down the key
    – when the (Windows) loading choices menu appears, choose
    Enable VGA mode.

Some computers have a different use for pressing F8 while booting. E.g. a menu may pop up that has the devices listed on it you can boot the computer from.
If you see that, read what it says on the screen and find the key you press to get out of that menu, e.g. Esc.
Press that key, then immediately repeatedly press F8 – the (Windows) loading choices menu will appear – select Enable VGA mode.)
