Having said that, from my experience if a wireless printer doesn’t connect easily in the first place then you are always going to have issues with it, even if you do get it to work at first it will drop out at the most inconvenient time.
In that case it sounds like that port has shorted out somehow. I could be wrong but that doesn't sound like a software issue. You could try removing all USB controllers in Device manager and rebooting. Windows should find the hardware and re-install it.

I don't know why you felt the need to reset the BIOS, but make sure you do it correctly. Unplug the power cord, then use a screwdriver blade to temporarily touch the 2 CLR_CMOS pins together, hold a few seconds, then remove. Also, if you successfully reset the BIOS, it may have disabled USB, so make sure you’re using a PS/2 keyboard.

Try to clean the contacts in the video card slot with a rubber eraser. After that, try the video card in there & see if the system will detect the video.
