Usually the female connector for the mouse will NOT work with a keyboard and visa versa, but it’s certainly possible for both connectors to support either of them.
That “combo” PS/2 port was what older laptops had on them rather than two PS/2 ports- apparently some newer desktop mboards have that too. If you have problems finding that locally, a place that sells accessories for laptops probably has it. …….
There were a few old desktop mboards that had two PS/2 ports that were both “combo” ports. You could plug a mouse or a keyboard into either port and it would be recognized.
The mboard / Windows probably can’t support you connecting two mice or two keyboards to such “combo” PS/2 ports and both of them working, but Windows (95 and up) does support you having more than one mouse (PS/2, USB. or Serial) or keyboard (PS/2 or USB) connected if they connect different ways, and you can probably connect more than one USB mouse. (You can only use one mouse or keyboard at a time, but they all work, if enough IRQs for the PS/2 and/or Serial port is [are] available .)

Actually speaking, BIOS defaults do not need to be set because they are already defaults. But once you turn on your computer, BIOS does not recognize the hardware immediately after receiving power. You need to restart once again. This may usually happen if you added more RAM or another hardware. This way you changed the default configuration.
If your laptop is quite old, then you should contact laptop manufacturer for battery replacement. I believe laptops have motherboard batteries, too.

I think one of the service packs for Win2003 added powershell, so you can either use that, or VBScript. VBScript’s execution is probably the fastest of the 3 Windows native scripting languages.

If you’re going to download it legally online, you’ll have to buy it again. EA Games doesn’t offer it free just because Sims 3 is out.
After installed, you could download a legal “No-CD” patch from http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ They aren’t always perfect, but worth a shot. Some patches I’ve tried didn’t include game music or allow multi-player, but others worked fine. I downloaded the No-CD patch for Sims 2 Open For Business and it works flawlessly.

Usually the female connector for the mouse will NOT work with a keyboard and visa versa, but it’s certainly possible for both connectors to support either of them.

Actually speaking, BIOS defaults do not need to be set because they are already defaults. But once you turn on your computer, BIOS does not recognize the hardware immediately after receiving power. You need to restart once again. This may usually happen if you added more RAM or another hardware. This way you changed the default configuration.
