Solved Will My New Smart TV Work With XP?

I want to buy a new tv, 60″ plasma or led, smart, but i heard it won’t mesh with XP. I’m new at this so any help would be appreciated.

      Smart TVs vary in their abilities. Most do support a web browser and perhaps even Flash. (Using a web browser on such a device is not particularly easy unless you use a keyboard in conjuction with it. Some TVs allow you to connect a Bluetooth or USB keyboard and mouse.) In general they supply dedicated apps to access NetFlix, TED, YouTube, catchup TV services and the like. They don’t need a computer to do this just a wired or wireless Internet connection. But they can connect to a computer or tablet running some form of media server; you can also mirror the screen and sound of an Android device on many of them.

      I’d advise you to read a few reviews of smart TVs as the different models differ in their capabilities – this is, after all, a fairly major purchase decision. In the UK the greatest range of apps is provided by Samsung smart TVs but there are many factors to consider when buying a TV.
