Seagate 1TB External HDD Not Detected On Any PC USB Ports

Hi,
My seagate expansion plus 1 tb portable hard drive and it is not detected on any computer i tried with USB 3.0 and 2.0 then i tried by changing the cable no effect.
By physically the blue light is Continuous ON for 1 minute and starts blinking very fast, also drive is not vibrating.
So, can I get my data back any how Please help me.

  1. Look for the external drive in Windows Disk Management. If it show up there, post all the information listed there for that drive.

  2. How long have you had this drive? Have you tried it on any other computers?
    Because you say the drive is not vibrating (and assuming it vibrated slightly before) means that the drive platters aren’t spinning up, supposedly because they’ve received no request for data. But if the drive doesn’t vibrate at all, period, no movement whatsoever, it’s possible that you may have dropped/otherwise physically damaged it and destroyed your drive plates. That’s a long shot and I don’t want to alarm you, but can you think of any situation where you might have dropped or hit the drive in any way?

  3. If this is a new drive if so have a look in “Computer Management” > “Disk Management” and see whether you have allocated a drive letter to it.

  4. Thanks For all suggestions from every one i just communicated with seagate they replace hard drive by recovering data.
