Solved Nikon Movie Editor Uninstall Problem

I want to remove “Nikon Movie editor programme” from my lap top because it is interfering with my PowerPoint presentations also my windows movie player, when I go to the Add/Remove programmes menu and scroll down to it and click on it to remove instead of the remove button appearing I get nothing except “Rarely used label” where the remove button should be,
I have tried to remove it from the windows search list but get an error message saying “cannot remove from the source disc”, I can’t understand why I am getting this error message as the Nikon disc “is Not installed”,
I am using windows XP, I would be pleased if you could help me thanks;
