Invalid Startup Directory/Check Pif File

  • 0

AREV my orchard accounting program has been altered by a hacker. When I click on my shortcut I get:

“Invalid startup directory, please check your pif file”.

When I run “File Cure” it scans with no errors.
Windows xp 32-bit

  1. Pif is a shortcut to a CD, either put the CD in, or right click on the shortcut & delete.

    Now make a new shortcut.
