I Installed Audacity.Exe But It Won’t Run

When I try to run it I get the error message –

The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

(I am using WindowsXP)

    2. What version did you install? 2.1.3 is the last that supports XP.

    3. Audacity still works on Windows XP as long as you have Service Pack 3 and SSE2 compatible processor.

      While 2.1.3 is technically the last official version for Windows XP, I have been running the newer versions on XP without any issues.
