Print screen no longer works. I am tired of all the bulls— I get asking this question. All the answers I get have nothing to do with this simple problem. All I need to know is what I have to change to make print screen work.

In the meantime, a quick Google of “print screen not working” provides a host of links. Here’s one you might like to look at: http://www.buzzle.com/articles/prin…
Bear in mind that pressing print screen doesn’t actually print anything. The screen is placed in a buffer which then has to be pasted into a graphics application in order to see it..
As Stuart stated, pressing “Print Screen” doesn’t cause anything to print. All it does is capture what is on the screen. If you know how to copy/paste, ‘print screen’ is similar to ‘copy’. You have to ‘paste’ the captured screenshot to a program, then print from there.
Try this:
– press the Print Screen key
– go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint
– when Paint opens up, click Edit > Paste
You can then print from there or you can save the screenshot as a .bmp, .jpg, etc

If you already know how the Print Screen key works then maybe your Print Screen key is defective.
1. Have you tried another keyboard?
2. Is the information appearing in your clipboard viewer after using the key?
3. When was it last working?
This sort of information is more useful than ranting about others.
There is nothing you normally have to change to get this function.
If it is not working then you have a fault which requires diagnosis.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome – thanks
