Facing You May Be A Victim Of Software Counterfeiting

<td>Hi,<p>I installed windows XP few days back on my laptop. It worked well for few days but now I’m facing some kind of error that say “you may be a victim of software counterfeiting, this copy of windows is not genuine”.</p><p>Most of the software programs are not working. I get this error whenever I start my laptop.   1. The Product Key you used to install Windows may have been “blacklisted” by Microsoft because it was either not issued by them (ie a fake key) or it’s already been used by one or more other people.
    Microsoft keeps a database of Product Keys which have already been used but it can take a couple of days for the warning message to appear in Windows.

    You must buy a genuine Product Key which has never been used, but that’s going to be impossible now because Microsoft stopped issuing XP Product Keys several years ago.

    I suggest you buy a more modern Windows version if your system supports it, or buy a new PC with Windows 10 pre-installed.

    Windows XP is no longer officially supported – it’s too old.
