Boot Sony Laptop Straight To External Monitor

The monitor on my laptop is broken (completely) , it is a Sony Vaio laptop,
how can i boot to my external screen , thanks for replying

      Have you hooked the monitor up to the laptop yet? If it’s not automatically detected, there should be a key or keys that need to be pressed to change the display setting from the laptop screen to the monitor. Usually the Function key (Fn) needs to be held & one of the F keys pressed along with it. On my laptop it’s the Fn + F7.
