Downloaded RealTek AC’97 but keeps giving me
blue screen when I attempt to install. No sound
whatsoever no matter what I try.
It says as follows:

Go into the Device Manager, go to view and select ‘devices by connection’…check to see if any irq numbers listed match with this particular device.
Have you used the device manager to install the driver by selecting properties of My Computer, Hardware, Device Manager. Scroll down to the sound, games etc and select properties and then try to install the driver.
