I have installed windows 98 – it hangs on logo screen so i went through step-by-step config
– i had the problem where it hangs at msmouse.vxd so i resolved the problem by changing mouse=*vmouse, msmouse.vxd to mouse=*vmouse
it now hangs on the script line before msmouse.vxd but it goes no further?

I would re-install Windows 98 without 1GB RAM for starters. While I have successfully run it under 1GB, I have always installed with 512MB or less to avoid instability during installation. It may not have installed properly with that much RAM.
