Midi Doesn’t Play On Windows 98

  • 1

I’m opening a midi file with media player and their’s no sound coming out of my speakers. I can still play DOS games with midi music. I have a Sound Blaster 128 PCI and it was working well sometime ago.

  1. what you need is the SBPCI128Setupus_w9x.exe file, which does bundle the Sound Blaster 128 PCI drivers for Win95 and Win98 FE.

download and install those drivers from the Creative Labs support site mentioned above.
