Solved Need To Open Cd Tray On Gateway NE Series

How do I open the CD tray on the NE Series it did not come with a manual so we do not know how to open it.

      Is there not a small button to press to open it? The small hole referred to above is for emergency use – when the drive refuses to eject the disk and open the tray.

      Also possibly if you right click on the drive icon in MyComputer or Windows Explorer it may also include “eject” as an option… And if so it will logically eject the disk and open the tray… I think it may also act as an “open the tray” too if no disk present; but not entirely sure about that last option (when no disk present).

      But model number would be most useful here…
