I tried to download Canon’s driver for my digital camera and encountered issues. I have done this process in the past with my old laptop successfully, but for some reason with my brand new laptop, the end result is “an error has occurred” whereby I do not successfully get the software after running the application. However, Canon shows in my programs (only it is a not really in my system at all). Since the software did not install, I want to remove the program. When I attempt to uninstall this Canon program, windows shows this pop-up: “Universal Uninstaller.exe could not load c\:program files (x86)\Common”. The tech removed this Canon program for me once, but with my final attempt of trying to getting the software this morning, once again the Canon appepared in my programs. How can I uninstall this program which is not really in my system and why isn’t windows letting me uninstall it?

My safety mechanisms, block downloads from that site. It adds it’s own adware.
Try Wise Program Uninstaller
