BSOD STOP 0x0000007E while installing XP

getting bluescreen when attempting to install Windows XP on newly built pc

Stop Message:
0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF748E0BF, 0xF78DA208, 0xF78D9F08)

If the pc has SATA hard drive and you have a standard windows xp installation cd without SP3, you have to switch the AHCI setting to IDE in the BIOS. After completing the installation, install the drivers for your mainboard, reboot, switch back the setting to AHCI in BIOS and reboot to windows.
