My old one was 1.0 the new firmware is 1.1 so I downloaded new firmware as zip file to my desktop,then I click on it and its open as folder,inside that folder another folder call “firmware” and I copy that folder and paste to sd card that I was using inside my p520 Nikon camera.Make sure that You format sd card by Your camera before You connect it to Your computer/laptop.After copy that firmware to my sd card<i put it back to my camera and switch on and I follow instructions as I pposted in Youtube link above. Now my camera is working and switch on and off without problems 🙂 I hope that my information will help 🙂
