overclocking has very little impact on the GPU temperature when the card remains at the stock voltage (so overclocking on a videocard on a desktop PC is safe and recommended (the amd/ ati drivers will even do it for you (though not as good as if you were to manually do it)
And as long as temperatures are not near the factory limits, overclocking is safe, just make sure your card dont cross 80°C, (70 is safest, 75 is managable and above 80 is red zone in mid to low range cards, but in high end some of them go to 100+ still safe for them as they are designed to run safely even on that hot)
In short if 6-7% is not significant for you and there is no reason to Overclock it but at the same time there is no reason not to Overclock it either as long as its in safe Temperature.
HAPPY OVERCLOCKING 🙂

Be very careful with the other side of the CPU and keep everything away from the contact surfaces during this process. Then you can read you CPU model series, number, and other important information.

A yellow exclamation mark usually means a problem with that item. Yet you appear to say you can connect OK with ethernet/cat-5 connection at least?
Once you are able to use wifi again strongl advise you to:
Make a restore point.
Develop the habit of regularly copying/duplicating “all” your personal files etc. off the system entirely – typically to DVD; and if possible to an external hard drive too. Check the copies are truly accessible on at least one other working system. Keep them safe and regularly update them too. Then should you ever have problems in the future – that may result in loss of access to your personal files etc. – they are safe elsewhere.
Also make an image of your drive – and keep it safe. Useful to have around in-case you ever need to rebuild it and keep all you apps/utilities etc which were installed after you received the Samsung. This does not mean you can’t use the built-in recovery routine; but be aware that “will” wipe “all” your personal files in the process, and any add-ins you made after receiving the Samsung…?
And also at intervals make a fresh Windows Restore Point too; as then you can always back to a previous time if needs-be (and this is one where that option might have been useful).

“Settings in Windows have nothing to do with whether your phone can share a broadband connection via a wireless router.”
You may have problems acceesing the phone in Windows if certain settings in Windows aren’t set right, but as far as the phone being able to access the internet via the wireless router, Windows settings have nothing to do with that. You probably need to install software for the phone in order to be able to access it in Windows in any case.
In Help and Support in XP, it says…
“To view the status of a shared Internet connection Open Network Connections. Right-click the icon for the shared Internet connection, and then click Status. Notes
To open Network Connections, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections. If the Show icon in notification area when connected check box is selected for the shared Internet connection, you can click the icon for the shared Internet connection to open its status window. If Windows Firewall is enabled, UPnP framework must be selected on the Exceptions tab in Windows Firewall for Internet Gateway Device Discovery and Control to work. “
In my case, in (XP) MCE 2005 (it’s essentially the same as XP Pro) , there is no icon for the shared Internet connection – it’s just Internet Connection.
I’m connecting to the internet via a combo wireless router / high speed modem, via a network cable to it. The wireless broadcast is enabled in the combo wireless router / high speed modem’s configuration. I have had up to four computers connected to that router/modem, both via a wired connection and a wireless connection, although I haven’t tried connecting wirelessly to a phone or an Xbox.
I’ve never had any problem with a wireless connection not working, once the device that wants to connect wirelessly has been supplied with the proper code or password that’s the same as the one in the combo router / modems configuration settings.
My brother recently re-installed XP Pro, he has no wireless network adapter on his computer, and his son and his son-in-law had no problem getting their phones to access the internet via the standalone wireless router my brother’s computer is connected to via a network cable, once the phones had been configured to use the proper code the wireless router is using. My brother also has a laptop he uses mostly for his job that connects wirelesly to the same router, no problem.

First of all you may need to cleanse the system of all driver software.
I suggest you remove the Radeon 9000 temporarily and boot using the integrated graphics. Download the correct removal tool using the first link below and also download the catalyst drivers from the second link.
When in Win XP change the graphics type from whatever you have installed to SVGA. Then run the removal tool.
Shutdown and install the 9000.
Boot directly to the BIOS (setup) screens and set the graphics to boot to the add in card (language may be confusing) or to disable the integrated graphics. Save when exiting.
When WinXP first starts tap the Esc key when Windows tries to install a driver. When Windows is finished booting install the Catalyst driver package. If you still have issues then run the removal tool again and install the graphics driver ONLY from the catalyst package.

You must do this during the first few seconds after you turn on power. If you see the Windows startup, it’s too late. On boot up, hit the Pause button. Down the bottom of the screen is the info on what key to press to enter Setup. Press the Space bar to move off Pause.
