Can Upgrade CPU In ASUS PTGD1-LA Motherboard

Can I upgrade the P4 2.8 800 bus in ASUS PTGD1-LA
board to Intel Pent dual core E5500, (2.8 w 800 bus)
I already upgraded the power supply and video card and OS to windows 7

    1. Asus made that board for HP.
      it support p4 HT up to 3.4ghz, pentium dual core isn’t supported.
