If this is the case (whether you can find it or not) your best bet is to purchase a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) to plug your computer into (their not that expensive and could save lots of data in the long term) it. They have internal batteries so as well as protecting against power peaks like a surge protector does, it also can make up for voltage drops with power from the battery. And if properly sized, will allow you to run your computer and monitor for 10 or 20 minutes during a power failure so you can save work and properly shut down everything. I bought my first one back in 1996 when I had some sudden shut down problems that created problems in windows 95 back then, That solved my problems and I have purchased one for every computer I own since. Later at my recent job, they only used one on their server, even though I suggested it for all computers, and when a circuit breaker tripped, cutting out one computer, it caused other problems on the server anyway. That changed their minds quickly (outside tech help cost them more than the protective measures would have).

This will confirm your memory is working properly and the hardware is running properly. Then boot to a CD with Seatools from Seagate and run the short test. This also runs off of the CD and your RAM and tests your hard drive to see if it is in working condition. If Seatools does not find the hard drive, check in your BIOS set up to see if it appears there and if it is, make sure that it is set to be bootable. If the BIOS and Seatools do not ‘see’ the hard drive, it is probably beyond saving.

I don't know about the red screen but if you're getting a missing OS message then whatever you're trying to boot from must not be bootable so maybe you are booting from the USB. Anyway, as I suggested in your first thread, try checking the boot order in bios setup.

To fix errors related with .dll file you need to download msvcp110.dll from here http://fix4dll.com/msvcp110_dll and copy it to the installation folder of the application or game, or copy it into the Windows system folder, reboot the computer.
