The message about TKIP is standard. It doesn’t mean something is wrong. However, I did have problems connecting the my E3000 router (1.0.04 firmware) to my BD-C6500. I bought my E3000 to replace a previous router (DIR-655) that was beginning to fail. I configured the E3000 with the same network name and password as the old router. The connection to the BD-C6500 was fine at first. Eventually (my guess is after a power failure), there was no connection. I used WPS to reconnect the router and BD-C6500. That worked, but after I turned the BD-C6500 off, I would need to use WPS again before I could reconnect to the router. This weekend, I temporarily replaced the E3000 with my old router. After I did the WPS thing, it connected with the BD-C6500. I even turned the BD-C6500 off then on again, and the BD-C6500 was still able to connect w/o my needing to run WPS. I wanted to keep my new router, so I removed the old router from the network, replacing it with the E3000 router, but I forgot to unplug the old router. The BD-C6500 showed two identically named networks. Realizing my error, I unplugged the old router. Now, the BD-C6500 showed only one network, but the network status remained “connected.” I turned off the BD-C6500 and turned it on again. It again connected with the E3000 router without my needing to run WPS. Since then, all’s been well.
When you use WPS, the router tells the client all configuration info, including the network password. It then disconnects and then reconnects with the client. If the reconnect succeeds, the client remembers the info, including the password. If not, the client forgets the information. The BD-C6500 connects with the E3000, but apparently does not recognize the E3000’s language confirming the connection. So, the BD-C6500 thinks the connection was unsuccessful, and forgets the password once powered off. However, the BD-C6500 recognized the DIR-655’s confirmation of connection, and therefore remembered the network password.after power down.
If you don’t have an old router (preferably 802.11n, I assume) that works, try connecting to the E3000 via the password or WPS. It should connect. Then, disable wireless security on the E3000. Check network status on the BD-C6500. Then re-enable teh E3000’s wireless security. That might convince the BD-C6500 that it connected to the E3000 successfully, allowing the BD-C6500 to remember the network password.

Sorry, it looks like you tried the usual suspects time to look at some others. If you can resolve FQDN from other computers but not this one then there has to be something different with this computer and nothing wrong with your DNS. So what might be different? If you can resolve FQDN from other computers but not this one then there has to be something different with this computer and nothing wrong with your DNS. So what might be different? What OS is it running, does it have any IPS or AntiVirus that is different, is its firewall configured different? I would look at the firewall and make sure you are not blocking port 53 or do a simple port scan on this computer and compare it to one that is working.
I hope this helps. Trouble shooting takes time and over a forum it takes even longer. Worst case you could try backing up the files and re imaging the computer.

First, you can possibly run a wired network run (Cat5, 5e or 6) out to the garage from the router and either run it hardwired or add a wireless access point in the garage for that area.
Second, If the garage’s power comes off the same main power panel as the rest of the house (running off one or two existing circuit breakers), you can use a pair of LAN over power line adapters and either run it hard wired from that adapter or connect a wireless access point to it for the garage and surrounding area.
Third, there is also a way to run a pair of directional antennas if you do have line of sight between the two buildings. See this thread for more details: https://computing.net/answers/ne…

Some third party firewalls do this during installation, but even not all.
So crosscheck, whether the windows internal firewall is also turned off and try again.
If the antivirus, you’re using has also some rudimentary firewall functionality, you have to also disable this for testing.

It sounds like your WebMin is using Apache as its web server instead of the built in one (which is unusual), and that some environment variables aren't set correctly. Have a look at http://www.webmin.com/apache.html .

If you can resolve FQDN from other computers but not this one then there has to be something different with this computer and nothing wrong with your DNS. So what might be different?
