These days one can buy a decent multi-function unit for not a lot... Depending on how much you actually use it - I wouldn't rush out and spend a fortune.. Is this for an office (heavy-ish) use or simply for home use. In 208 multifunction units weren’t as “cheap” as now for a given spec. And you may find an HP or Canon (I’d opt to Canon) for a lot less than you paid in 2008. Also Brother have a reasonable range too – with a sheet feeder for scanning. Main cost overall is the ink… Canon are reasonable (I get mine on-line and a lot cheaper than the “big high street stores” and use only Canon product). HP somewhat similar I suspect; and likely Brother too. Avoid Epson as they are expensive to run (re’ ink…) and have a poor reputation overall for reliability; and also allegedly say the ink has run out, and stop printing from that colour – when there’s actually quite a bit left…

If it DOES, the computer will probably NOT be able to fully load an existing operating system installation unless the hardware that was on the mboard when the operating system was installed is NOT more than a little different from the hardware on your present mboard.
If it was a used mboard, did it say in it’s description the mboard you bought been TESTED and had been found to WORK ?
If pressing the F1 and F2 keys works, then pressing the F9 and F10 keys should work too, unless there’s something wrong with the mboard or the built in keyboard.
The ability to respond to pressing those keys is built into the bios version.
Malfunctioning keys on built in keyboards on laptops or netbooks are very common. Try connecting a corded USB keyboard, then trying pressing F9 and F10.

Going by the vague info I’ve found so far regarding “serial not found” , you can get that message because of a hardware or a software problem.
Try removing the hard drive to see if your symptoms are any different.
If they aren’t, you probably have a hardware problem. Make sure all connectors connected to the mboard, all cards plugged into it, are properly plugged in and fully seated, and that any cables are not physically damaged.
Those numbers do not indicate any conflict. I suggest you remove the keyboard from within Device Manager and then reboot. Go into device manager and remove the LISTING for it there and then reboot.

I noted you state screws as opposed to thumbscrews, which appear in Mickliq’s picture of monitor connectors.
Then try unscrewing with a screwdriver of the correct size. You should push hardish, while turning anti-clockwise. As advised above, you may have to hold the hexagonal mountings with a spall spanner or pliers to stop them turning.
Bear in mind, using pliers could mess up the head of the screw(s) such that a screwdriver will no longer fit.
