The mouse could be reading information in a way that the computer isn’t calibrated for. Can you use your touch pad with the mouse plugged in? If so, navigate through Control Panel to where you can access controls for your mouse. Click around on the tabs (i’m using a library computer away from home right now so I can’t give you direct navigation) until you find Calibration. click through it with your pad, then use the mouse. It should give you a calibration slider or animation. After you activate the calibration, Move your mouse straight from left to right in a soft, fluid motion. This should help, if not fix the problem. P.S to Kuwese: this should be used sparingly as I have in the past completley uninstalled my mouse and had to navigate by Keyboard (which is NOT fun).

Are you getting any error beep codes when you power the unit up.
I hate to say it but, my own experiences with computers that won’t post usually means the motherboard is toast.
You could disconnect/remove all hardware except the RAM and video and try booting and see if it boots then.

I'm afraid that you are mistaken. Typing "clear" in an FTP client (at least every one that I have tried) will just result in an error message. In the Windows client the message is "Invalid command".I'm pretty sure there is no way of doing what the OP wants.

You need a more up-to-date image editing application, such as Adobe Photoshop Elements (Adobe stopped development of Photodeluxe several years ago).

That might be difficult to answer without knowing how you're invoking the scripts, but I assume you want something like this:cscript [your script] 2>>error.log
