I’m using Nuance PDF Converter (XP) to convert a word doc to a pdf file (a very simple doc). When I open the word doc in Nuance, it defaults to a page size of 8.26 x 11.69. The word doc is set at 8.5 x 11 – everything fits into 8.5 x 11 – but Nuance opens it at 8.26 x 11.69. I’ve tried using other docs and get the same issue…
I’ve scoured the Nuance online help to no avail – – does anyone know where to make that change within Nuance ??
8.26 x 11.69 is the size of A4 paper, most commonly used in Europe and Asia.
I live in the US and used to be a member of a global team. I used to hate getting documents formatted for A4 paper. It screwed us up here in the US.
Try setting the paper size in Nuance to Letter if possible.
