Now do you wish to edit the scanned document?
If I am correct you will need to use OCR (optical character recognition) software to scan the document then copy and paste the content into Word for editing.

I just realised that Telugu characters may not be supported by some software. There is one that uses the Google Tesseract engine to decipher the image into text. This one may work for you
