How Do I Remove The Review Panel From a Word Document?

I have created a document which was reviewed by others for possible changes. the changes were entered into the review panel. All changes have been accepted and I’m ready to distribute the document however I can’t get rid of the review panel. I have clicked on review, removed “track changes”, and moved from “Final Show Markup” to “Final”. the doc then shows without the review panel. I save and close the doc, pull it back up and the review panel is back! How do I get rid of it?
