How Do I Get Rid Of Green Box From Paste Function In Excel?

In excel used the paste function on a cell and got a green box and now I can’t get rid of it. How do I get the green box to go away?

      What do you mean by a “green box”?

      Keep in mind that we can’t see your spreadsheet from where we are sitting, so we need as much detail as you can provide.
