  • 6

Hi Guys
Have a few problems with Excel Workbook that I have memory sticked from my old laptop to new computer. Old laptop is Excel 97 – 2003 and new computer is excel 2013

Once I loaded the worksheet from the memory stick, I have opened the workbook and it is not working as it has been. I have noticed that some of the Form Control Buttons are missing as well

I have run a Compatibility Check and it has thrown up a number of issues

  1. I’ve have had similar warnings, essentially, it mean you can NOT save the workbook in a Excel 97 – 2003 format of XLS.
If you try, then you will loose all the functionality listed in the warning message.

You have to save the file in the new file formats to retain the functionality.

Are the Form Control button linked to a Macro?
