Can’t Identify USB Adapter

I have what appears to be a 2.4 GHz usb wireless adapter. My PC will not recognize it. How can I get my PC to recognize it?

  1. Somewhere on the device it should say a brand and a model number. for example “Netgear WN100 V2.”

After you find the make and model, go to their website (in this case it’s www.netgear.com) but you can find it by doing a quick google search. Once you find the page, locate their drivers and downloads section which will hopefully have a driver for your system.
