Solved iPad Display Doesn’t Turn Off When Close The Cover

It has been working fine up to now but doesn’t make that click sound when I close the cover and doesn’t seem to switch off.

      First of all check your settings. Tap on the “Settings” icon. Tap “General”. Lock / Unlock should be set to “On”. Also you can try closing all open apps then rebooting the iPad.

      Is this an Apple cover or a “Made for Apple” cover?

      Some alternatives you buy online are known after a period to stop working because the magnets move. A little handy work and a dab of glue can fix this.
