I’ve tried several hard drives. Two of which are brand new. One formatted and one not. So the hard drive is not the problem. I’ve tried resetting the bios/cmos several ways but nothing works. I have inspected internally to rule out loose wires or connections. There also seems to be no damaged components.

It’s a laptop, not a desktop. Because of security, removing the battery will not reset the BIOS.
Looking at your BIOS screenshot, your BIOS version is F.24 which is “ancient”. The latest BIOS is F.66. I suggest you update it & see if it fixes your HDD SMART errors. Unfortunately, I think the update needs to be installed from within Windows. Did you try disabling SMART?
