When scanning a multi page PDF document my scanner makes me wait approx. 30 seconds to adjust lamp between each page. This is very time consuming and annoying. Is their a way to reduce this waiting time?

Unfortunately it did not cure the problem.
I also contacted Canon Tech support direct. After 2 hours on the phone with them the problem still persists. Canon concluded it is an Mac problem they can not fix.
