Acer Aspire Laptop 6920G Rebooting Over & Over

it works off battery but as soon as you plug in the power supply it reboots turns off, reboots turns off …
I have tried a new power supply and does the same thing. So I have to charge it while it is off.

    1. Check MSCONFIG for start-up apps related to Acer Power. Uncheck box if found –
      START | type msconfig

    2. Are BOTH the power adapters you tried original equipment or something by a third party that is supposed to work? Some adapters use reverse polarity. Normally the concentric plug is negative on the outside and positive on the inside. I have red that some are the opposite.
      If you bought a replacement based on the voltage and amps it may not be compatible.

      Try updating the system to the latest BIOS and check if the issue persists. Refer to the link mentioned below:

      NOTE: Ensure that the system does not turn off during BIOS update process.
