Hey Justin, I just received an e-mail stating that someone sent me a private message on computing.net. I went to my Private Message Center, and found nothing. I've checked using 2 PCs. Is there something wrong with computing.net? Just thought I'd report it in case you didn't know about it.
If the earth was created by a big bang, how come my car or computer or anything else isn't created the same way?
I have accidently hit enter when writing a private message. That will send a blank message if the name has been entered. In work processing programs hitting enter just takes you to the next line. Maybe that is what happened to you.
Rayburn, The same thing happened to me a few times recently(about a week or two ago), but it has since stopped. I don't think that I was mistakenly hitting "enter".
Even a private message that contains a blank body would still appear in the private message list. It would just show up as "So and So sent you a message" but there would be no message there.
Did anyone who saw this problem ever have another account with the site that might have had the same email associated with it? I was just thinking that maybe the message could have been sent to a different account.
