PLEASE forgive me if I overlooked the answer elsewhere on the site. It's easy to do. I did already see the question about the ASPI driver and the guy's printer/scanner not working.

In any case, a virus crippled my old computer (Win XP), so I bought a new one. This is my first time with Windows Vista. I have been using Audio Catalyst 2.0 for a few years and it has been fantastic. Now that I have reinstalled it on the new Vista OS computer, the ripping methods are still there but only analog can be chosen. ASPI and the other one cannot be chosen. I know, I know, this happens a lot for a variety of reasons. I'm just not sure how much of the problem is due to Vista.

I have downloaded wnaspi32.dll and dropped it into the system folders. It didn't work. FrogASPI didn't work. ForceASPI didn't work. I have zero answers. Most of the leads I find on the net are ancient forum discussions from half a decade ago. There is very little discussion on the net about this problem in the context of VISTA (rather than Me, 2000, XP, whatever).

Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated. I have invested too many hours into randomly searching the net for the answer.

THANKS!
