Reply: (edit)go to WWW.BOOTDISK.COM and download it! That's if you want the boot disk for the XP clean install ( this is a program that you download to your HD and it extracts itself to 6 floppies) OR if you just want a regular DOS startup disk, just go to your A drive in my computer, make sure there is a floppy in the drive, right click on the A drive and select format, then at the bottom of the format screen(box) you will se a box that says "create an MS DOS startup disk" just check this and click OK! Reply: (edit)start up disk for what? since the XP disk is bootable it is its own repair/start up disk if you need a floppy start up right click your floppy drive in explorer select "format" select"create MSDOS startup disk"

Reply: (edit)microsoft has an excellent download for xp start up.. download to you computer and then click it will ask for 6 disk.. I just did it.. worked perfect.. make sure the xp cd is in machine.. Jo
