Comment:
I get "Network cable unplugged" error on every wired network adapter used on a new sony vaio using Win xp. Reinstalling the devices does not help, this even occurs with the integrated Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network adapter that comes with the machine. My rj45's are Cat5, i can only think this an xp bug, i have never seen this with win98. Has anone got a solution, or even experienced this.?
Um...You didn't actually mention if your PC was actually on a network. If it's not plugged into anything, or the network computer is off, then you will get that message. I get the message whenever my dad turns his computer off.
I have a similar problem. My network cards on lap and desktop are connected through the RJ45 cable but both terminals have the "a network cable is unplagged" error mesage on the right down corner of windows. I'd used all the combination of protocols but nothing.
