I have a neat program to convert types of movie files to others for instance mpg to avi or wmv ot mov. I have a DVD recorder I recorded movies from my TV on. Iwant to take the files from that dvd andmake 1 avi or wmv file. is there any way i can do this. Thanks

Well there lots of programs that do a lot of things. I guess my question shuold have read, does anyone suggest a program. I have been through this before downloading many programs to do one thing before figureing out which one I wanted to keep.I was trying to avoid this, and see if anyone here had a suggestion.

I can recommend the Xilisoft DVD ripper. It does a 'much' better job ripping DVDs than my other converters. However I haven't used it for WMVs.
