To All Fellow Win98 Users,

For those of you that enjoy having add-on tool bars to Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 on your Windows 98 computer, as of July 2008, Yahoo Tool Bar main download web sit with version 7.2.1 will no longer install on a Windows 98 computer. Starting with this version, it is for only Windows 2000 or later!!!

However, I did manage to find another Yahoo web site with an older version of there tool bar, Version 7.0.10 that includes CA Yahoo Anti-Spy that you can download and install on a Window 98 computer and that link is...

http://ca.toolbar.yahoo.com

Now if for some reason Yahoo should remove this web page at some time in the future, I do know of another way of getting a Yahoo tool bar, though this version is much older.

Download and install CCleaner. This is a free disk cleaner and lite weight register repair program and when installed, it will install a Yahoo tool bar if one is not all ready there. The link for this program is...

http://www.ccleaner.com/

Hoping this might be of some help to someone else for I just went through a fresh install of Windows 98 and I was have a hard time trying to find a Yahoo Tool Bar for this computer.

Yahoo toolbar is spyware, so is Google toolbar. I don't advise ANYONE installing them. Read their privacy policies. See response #3:

when I was reading this post I was thinking, "I know what the response to this is going to be". The poster doesn't know the people on this site very well.
