I am trying to upgrade my server to a new machine and Server 2003. I currently use SBS 2000. I have completed the adprep of both forest and domain and I continue to get an error that the forest version is incompatible. Any ideas?

I'd start my research on Microsoft's web site. Have you been there yet? Or used google?

Yes. I have looked at Microsoft and a tremendous amount of time on here. Thanks to many of your posts and several from wanderer and herophysco(sp?) I have gotten this thing put together.

I have read the following about 25 times:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917385

about midnight last night I was looking on here some more and finally realized that I am a dumba$$. Even after reading it here and seeing the question specifically asked by one of you guys in another post it finally clicked. Use disk number 2 for SP2 to get the proper version.

You guys have been a tremendous help to me with the responses, etc to other users. Thanks for taking the time to reply and lend a hand.
