Alpha, OpenVMS7.2-1

I have installed MOTIF and I rebooted.

Eventually, I get to a blank screen.

I was told:

“Do a conversational boot and set the system parameter WINDOW_SYSTEM to 0 to prevent startup of DW then you should be able to get in.”

How do I do this?
