Hi,

I have been trying to run a batch file to backup my files from a Novell shared drive to the local drive. And I have scheduled it with Windows task Scheduler every night with my computer logged off.

Problem is that the task usually fails saying that the path to the network drive is invalid. Thus I suspect that its the Novell Login that is blocking my access to the shared drive.(since I'm logged off) Is there a way to circumvent this problem like tweaking the Novell services to allow XP task scheduling?
Thanks!

No Novell Login, no access.

So if you would be able to simply create a Schedule job, to copy files from a netware server, anyone would be able to do so.
And what's about security for your data?

Also all the backup software for netware needs to authenticate with the appropriate rights, to backup your server volumes.
