Hello,

I work for a local school system. We use Novell Netware 6.5 for our network, but we are going to be switching to a mixed Netware/Windows environment.

We have a Windows 2003 Enterprise server setup with its own DNS that we want teachers to log into instead of Novell. Our teachers have the Novell Client on their laptops. Our goal is to have them check "Workstation Only" on the client, bypass Novell's DNS and automatically pickup Windows' DNS without having to put it in under Windows TCP/IP settings. The reason for that is that the teachers take their laptops home and use the Internet with their service providers and we don't want them to have to go into those settings to make changes.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Patrick

So the teachers will login to AD at the Windows Server.
If they are at home, there is no AD Windows Server to login to.
So same problem persists.
