Hi,

I have an old powerbook which had a bad HDD in it. We ordered a new hard drive for the unit, installed it, put in the Mac OS 9.0.4 International English CD and it seemed to initially boot off of it just fine. It recongized the hard drive and began to install itself to it. I came back to a message saying, "Installation complete." So I restarted the unit as directed, and loe and behold I get the floppy disc with a question mark blinking.

So I booted the live CD again to reinstall, but this time it does not see the hard drive anymore. What gives? I have limited experience with Macs so please bare with me on this, and any help would greatly be appreciated!
