OS: 10.3.9 / 9.2
CPU/Ram: 512
Model/Manufacturer: eMac G4, 512, Combo
Comment:

I booted up in OS 9.2 the other day -- I think I held down Cmd-Opt keys during start up, and all I got was the flashing icon as described in this Subject line. Luckily the install disc was in the drive and I was able to navigate around and reboot on it! Even rebooted in OS 9 again with the same result. So now I can't really use the OS 9 side because of this and wonder if there is an easy fix.

Also, as a separate issue, I think, I recently installed another 256MB of RAM for a total of 512MB. Now Firefox makes a habit of freezing and crashing.

It's an e-Mac 1G, 512MB, Combo OS10.3.9 / 9.2 bought new summer of '03
